Kathleen is a clinical supervisor of trainees at the Institute for Sexuality and Intimacy, formerly, the McLean Hospital Human Sexuality Program of the Couples Institute, Belmont, MA. She is an AASECT Certified Diplomate and Supervisor of Sex Therapy. She served on the Board of Directors of the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) from l996 to 2002. She is a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). She has done post-graduate work at the Masters and Johnson Institute in St. Louis, Missouri, the Kinsey Institute in Bloomington, Indiana and the Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco, Calif.
For twelve years she was Education Director for the New England Institute of Family Relations in Framingham, MA. where she created and presented Couple Enrichment seminars and training seminars for health and mental health professionals. In 1996, Kathleen pioneered research into Women's Response to Partner's Medically Restored Sexual Function. She is a consultant at the Metro West Medical Center giving regular presentations to medical students on the treatment of sexual problems. She is known for skill in helping couples with relationship difficulties and enabling them to reach greater personal effectiveness through growth in relationship.
